The Golden Fishing Award is given to those who have shown immense passion and patience in the sport of fishing while at camp. They have shown commitment and extreme interest in learning and applying many skills learned while achieving their fishing levels. Although Fishing is a relatively new activity at camp (inducted as choice activity in 2015 and made into a fully fledged activity in 2017) this award was established to reward campers who show passion and a love for fishing.
Those recognized with the Golden Fishing Award are given the highest honour for fishing at camp and are forever immortalized on the plaque in the dining hall for all to see.
