A Summer Camp for Boys and Girls in the Heart of Muskoka

At Arrowhead Camp we are a family.

With a maximum of 115 campers, we get to know each child. A staff to camper ratio of better than 1:3 ensures that every camper receives individual attention and instruction.

We believe in the long-term value of a camp experience for every child, and it is our goal to provide the best possible opportunity for every camper to learn and grow in a supportive and happy environment.

2023 Marks the 51st Anniversary of our Camp! Come join us for an amazing summer on the beautiful shores of Lake of Bays, Muskoka!

Vaccination Policy

After many months of back and forth within our camp organization (OCA), local health unit and government directives we required all campers in 2022 to be vaccinated to attend Camp. I know that this is a very difficult topic and that there are discussion points on both sides of vaccination that have merit and weight.  It simply comes down to a couple of key points:

  1. To ensure a safe and healthy workplace for our staff, that are all required to and have already been vaccinated to work at camp.
  2. Enable all campers to participate in all of our activities with no outside restrictions due to lack of vaccination.
  3. Get camp back to operating in a ‘normal’ capacity without extra restrictions and governance from outside government authorities.

We have managed through 3+ years of very challenging times.  This is not a decision we came to easily or without great thought and outside consultation.   Moving towards 2023 we are advising families that this policy will still be in place until otherwise notified.
