The Mitch Plant Golden Paddle Award is given in honour of a past staff member who exemplified all the aspects of a strong and passionate canoeist. Recipients must demonstrate immense skill in either canoeing or kayaking as well as show great passion for the sport.
Those recognized with the Mitch Plant Golden Paddle Award are given the highest honour for paddlesports at camp and forever immortalized on the plaque in the dining hall for all the see.
